Today, hear about Gabrielle’s Greenery, a business started by 17-year-old Gabrielle Parrulli in an attempt to reduce plastic waste.
Parrulli, a student at Albuquerque High, refurbished an old Airstream and installed equipment so that customers can refill bottles with detergents, shampoos, conditioners and more.
KOAT-TV will spotlight Parrulli as part of its “The Good News Files” feature.
The small pop-up shop also has a thrift clothing rack, succulents, and eco-friendly body and cleaning products.
“It’s one way that you can help contribute to making our Earth a better place, making New Mexico a more beautiful state,” she says.
KOAT will air the piece Friday during its news programs and you can find it on its website.
“The Good News Files” is a collaboration among KOAT-TV, News Radio KKOB and the Journal, with each entity taking turns featuring stories that make you smile.
