VIDEO: Lobos coach Craig Neal throws first pitch at Isotopes game

UNM Lobos men’s basketball coach Craig Neal on Saturday night threw out the first pitch at the Albuquerque Isotopes (AAA affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers) game vs. the New Orleans Zephyrs.

The Lobos basketball team was honored prior to the game. Neal joked “I brought the heat, didn’t I?” He threw the opening pitch to Isotopes outfielder Tony Gwynn Jr., the son of San Diego State baseball coach Tony Gwynn.

“I’m going to have to tell him to take it easy on my Aztecs next year,” Gwynn Jr. said before the pitch.
