Lobo-Aggie football game on Root TV

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Root Sports will televise five Lobo football games this year as part of its 10-game Mountain West Conference football game.
Among the televised games will be the UNM-New Mexico State game on Oct. 5 at 5 p.m.
This addition means all but two of the 12 Lobo football games in 2013 will have television coverage. The opener against Texas-San Antonio and the Sept. 28 home game against UNLV are not scheduled to be on TV as of today.

Other Lobo games which will be covered by Root Sports are:
New Mexico at Wyoming, Oct. 12, 1:30 p.m.
Utah State at New Mexico, Oct. 19, 7 p.m.
New Mexico at San Diego State, Nov. 2, 6 p.m.
Colorado State at New Mexico , Nov. 16, 5 p.m.

“New Mexico football will be an outstanding addition to our college football lineup this season,” said Root Sports general manager David Woodman. “We are excited to be a part of the Lobos’ growing football tradition under head coach Bob Davie and look forward to being the home of New Mexico football this fall.”
Said UNM athletic dirctor Paul Krebs: “Generating interest from a wider audience is critical as we build the football program into what we feel it should be.”
