Summer concert season returns at Inn of the Mountain Gods

Live shows are back at Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino in Mescalero.

Seven of rock’s heavy hitters are joining forces to perform some of their greatest hits as part of the Kings of Chaos tour at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 17. The show’s setlist includes “I Want You to Want Me,” “Rock in America,” “I Wanna Rock,” “Highway to Hell,” “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and more. The outdoor show’s performance lineup includes Robin Zander of Cheap Trick, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, Jack Blades of Night Ranger and Damn Yankees, Gilby Clarke of Guns N’ Roses, Warren DeMartini of Ratt and James Lomenzo of White Lion and Megadeth. Tickets start at $75, plus fees.

Three time Grammy Award winning recording artist T.I. will perform an outdoor

concert at 4 p.m. Friday, June 18. The show will feature some of T.I.’s biggest hits including “Whatever You Like,” “Live Your Life,” and more. T.I. has sold more

than 10 million albums in the United States alone. He has led the explosion of southern hip hop music and the subgenre Trap, according to an Inn of the Mountain Gods news release. Tickets for the show start at $75, plus fees.

Old Dominion, Country Music Awards reigning Vocal Group of the Year, brings its “Band Behind the Curtain” tour to Inn of the Mountain Gods. The band will headline two performances at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20. The band has landed the No. 1 spot

on country radio for seven of its songs and has over 1 billion on-demand streams. Its singles “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart” and “Written in the Sand” both earned platinum certifications and its song “Hotel Key” earned a gold certification, according to the news release. Tickets for each show begin at $75, plus fees.

George Lopez will perform two hilarious stand-up comedy shows at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. July 17 at Inn of the Mountain Gods. Lopez’s multi-faceted career encompasses television, film, stand-up comedy, and late-night television. In

2006, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Lopez has also been named one of the “Most Influential Hispanics in America” by Time magazine as well as “Top Ten Favorite Television Personalities” by the Harris Poll. Tickets for each show start at $45, plus fees.
