Gladiators start string of home games on Saturday

The Duke City Gladiators (2-2) will play host to the Arizona Rattlers (3-1) in an Indoor Football League game Saturday at the Rio Rancho Events Center, with kickoff set for 6:05 p.m.
It’s the first of three straight Saturday night home games at the Center for Duke City, followed by visits from the Frisco Fighters and the Northern Arizona Wranglers.
It’s going to be a battle of recent champions Saturday. The Gladiators, coming off a 34-17 road victory over Northern Arizona last week, won Champions Indoor Football titles in 2018 and 2019. The Rattlers were 2017 IFL champs and went 14-0 in the 2019 regular season before losing in the playoffs.
A tailgate party is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Saturday. The game will stream on goifl.com.
