ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Public Service Company of New Mexico has donated 21 used Surface Pro 3s to Belen Public Library in an effort to increase computer literacy in the area.

“PNM is so happy that we are able to support our communities,” said Sara Ross, client services supervisor for PNM, according to the release.

“It’s exciting to see that the equipment that we can’t use anymore get put to such great use at places like Belen Public Libraries.” Kathleen Pickering, director of the Belen Public Library, added in the release.

The Surface Pro 3s can be used to support coding classes, research and other activities.
