Rank: No. 2, small workplace category.

Description: Privately owned builder Abrazo Homes was founded in 2010 and employs 37 New Mexicans. The firm has built homes in over eight subdivisions in Rio Rancho, 10 in Albuquerque, one in the East Mountains and two in Los Lunas, and has twice appeared on the Journal’s Top Workplaces list.

From the Organization: “At Abrazo Homes, our purpose is to drive delight for our customers and our partners through our core values: Integrity, enthusiasm, individuality, listen, attitude, ambition, empower, do it right, and of course people,” leaders wrote.

From the Employees: “Upper Management provides a work/healthy/family life balance,” one employee wrote. “They encourage mental and physical health. Especially during the pandemic, they worked hard to make sure we (the different departments) all engaged and interacted with one another.”
