Driver fatally struck woman in NE ABQ

A woman is dead after being hit by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Northeast Albuquerque.

Daren DeAguero, an Albuquerque police spokesman, said the crash occurred sometime before 5:30 p.m. at Indian School and San Pedro.

He said the woman who was struck died at the scene. DeAguero gave no other details on what may have led to the crash.
