ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Former New Mexico Congresswoman Heather A. Wilson has been appointed as a member of the Peabody Energy’s Board of Directors, the company announced Wednesday.
She currently serves as President of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
“Dr. Wilson is an exceptional leader with a broad perspective on energy, mining and global affairs, who leads an institution that is bringing forth the next generation of mining talent,” said Peabody Chairman and CEO Gregory H. Boyce in a news release. “Her extensive expertise in global intelligence, energy and strategy, will be of great value to Peabody’s platform.”
