Call them Bugs, Roger, Peter Cottontail or just wascally wabbit. Give these rabbits a carrot to gnaw, and they won’t mind what you call them.

The furry vegetarians took center stage at the Santa Fe County Fair on Thursday morning, while the cattle and swine had their turn in the afternoon.

Poultry, sheep and goats take over today, and the fair continues through Sunday at the county fairgrounds on Rodeo Road.

You can also check out the indoor exhibits of crafts and food from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.
