Two Journal staffers who caught the wildlife bug, Matthew Reisen and Martín Salazar, invested in some trail cameras and soon caught something else. A bouncing fox and a pair of coyotes in an orchard on the outskirts of Las Vegas. Then, on the west side of the Sandia Mountains, there was what appeared to be a mountain lion family, some gobbling turkeys and a rare sighting of a ringtail cat.
