APD investigating suspicious death

Albuquerque police officers responded to the area of 94th and Central Tuesday morning after a person was found dead on the side of the road, according to an Albuquerque Police Department news release.

“At this time this is being investigated as a suspicious death,” the release states. “More details will be released as they are available,”

Lt. Ray Del Greco told the Journal that the deceased person is a female.

During the investigation, eastbound traffic was shut down along Central between 98th and Bridge.
