Police clear Coronado Mall after reports of armed person inside

Police searched Coronado Mall Wednesday night after a call came in that a person with a gun was inside.

Albuquerque police spokesman Daren DeAguero said “officers have finish searching the mall and did not find the allegation to be credible.”

He said a call of an armed person inside the mall came in sometime before 8:30 p.m.

DeAguero said the mall was placed on lock down as officers searched.
