Woman found dead in SE ABQ

Police are investigating a suspicious death in Southeast Albuquerque after a woman’s body was discovered near Gibson and Carlisle SE Saturday morning.

The body was located in an alley in the area of Carlisle and Crest SE.

“After further investigation, this case is now being investigated as a suspicious death and not a homicide,” an APD spokesperson said hours after the discovery. “More details will be released as they are available.”
