An hours-long standoff on Sunday ended with the suspect under arrest, according to Albuquerque police.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s SWAT team responded to an Albuquerque apartment in the Northeast Heights Sunday morning. Officers were trying to detain an armed person who had barricaded themselves inside, according to a news release from Albuquerque police.
