Vandals hit V. Sue Cleveland High School twice over the winter break, officials say.
Last week, according to a district statement, someone broke two atrium windows with rocks, but no one entered the school.
And earlier this week, someone spray-painted graffiti on fences, a parking lot and on sidewalks. The district is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction — or any other discipline by the courts — of those responsible, spokesperson Beth Pendergrass said.
“We are extremely (saddened) by the (actions) of those that chose to bring such damage to our school and hope our community will help bring swift justice to those who (have) chosen to do this damage,” officials said in a school message.
The district encouraged anyone with information on the incidents to reach out to Rio Rancho Public Schools or the police department.
