APD investigating hit and run that injured pedestrian

Albuquerque Police Department officers are investigating after they say a driver struck a pedestrian on West Central and then fled the scene Monday afternoon.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital. Police did not say what condition they were in.

The crash occurred in the area of Legacy Church at 7201 Central and eastbound lanes were closed from Unser to Airport SW while officers investigated.
