The Bluebird Cafe, the iconic music venue based in Nashville, Tennessee, is partnering with Bishop’s Lodge for two intimate concerts at the Santa Fe resort.

On Feb. 18, and again on March 18, world-renowned country music singer-songwriters will perform their chart-topping hits, as well as the stories that shaped the songs.

“For those familiar with The Bluebird Cafe, it’s a legendary listening room with such a following,” said Alyssa Alexander, area director of marketing for Auberge Resorts Collection. “We’re just so excited to be able to offer that at Bishop’s Lodge.”

Both nights will present a trio of artists as they nestle together in the center of the Bunkhouse to serenade the cozy space. The crackling fire will complement the acoustic stylings of the songwriters as they share their music and storytelling at floor level surrounded by a small circle of listeners.

“It’s extremely important to keep the event quite intimate,” Alexander said. “The experience is so profound because it’s like you’re just sitting in the living room with them as they banter with each other and do their storytelling.”

Feb. 18 show will feature Kelly Archer, Deric Ruttan and Adam Hambrick.

Archer’s songs have been recorded by the likes of Jason Aldean and Reba McEntire, and she co-wrote the song “Somebody Else Will” recorded by Justin Moore, which reached No. 1 on country airwaves.

Ruttan has had over 70 songs recorded by country artists, including Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw and Darius Rucker. The Canadian musician has written multiple No. 1 songs.

Hambrick has charted on Billboard with his own recording, “Rockin’ All Night Long,” but has also written for Dan + Shay and Eli Young Band among other artists.

A month later, the Bunkhouse lineup on Mar. 18 will include Kent Blazy, Danny Myrick and Leslie Satcher.

Throughout Blazy’s career, he has written seven No. 1 hits, and has crafted singles for artists such as Garth Brooks, Diamond Rio and Chris Young.

Myrick has worked with a slew of acts from Craig Morgan to Big and Rich to Montgomery Gentry.

Satcher has been involved in country music since the late ’80s, and has co-written singles for George Strait, Martina McBride and Vince Gill. She also has released two albums of original work.

Many artists get their start or continue to build a name at The Bluebird Cafe, which occasionally stretches its format and talent pool to limited off-site locations.

“The only other partner they have done this type of thing with is Sundance in Utah,” said Megan Godin, Bishop’s Lodge experience curator. “They’re very particular on whom they partner with, just making sure that it’s in alignment.”

The Bluebird Cafe is a legendary 90-seat venue, housing over 70,000 visitors annually at its home location outside of downtown Nashville. Novice and established songwriters perform at the space throughout the year, providing crowds with hit songs and conversations about creativity.

Tickets to just the event are available, starting at $150. However, due to the size of the Bunkhouse, tickets are very limited.
