Xeric Garden Club to host lecture

The Xeric Garden Club of Albuquerque will host Laurel Ladwig as she speaks on the topic “Share Space with Wildlife with a Backyard Refuge.”

Ladwig will discuss the ABQ Backyard Refuge Program and how you can build a certified backyard refuge, along with ways to support our wild neighbors by sharing resources and being responsive to their needs.

The free event starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Albuquerque Garden Center, 10120 Lomas Blvd. NE.
