Two Boys Donuts downsizes

Two Boys Donuts has closed two of its locations.

On Feb. 28, the donut shop posted on its social media that ownership would be closing locations in the South Valley and the Northeast Heights.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of two Albuquerque stores,” read a post on the donut shop’s Instagram and Facebook.

Founded in 2019 by Brian and Jean Vargas, the donut shop grew from a single location at 6400 Holly NE into a mini-empire, with four Albuquerque locations and one in Los Lunas. The original location, as well as the shops at Uptown and Los Lunas, will remain open.

The mobile donut truck will also keep rolling.
