NMSU hires search firm

LAS CRUCES – New Mexico State University has hired a search firm for $60,000 to help the school find its next vice president for university advancement, who also oversees the NMSU Foundation.

The Florida-based firm, Greenwood/Asher, will help NMSU develop a pool of candidates, handle administrative duties related to the search and aid the search committee with the screening process, according to an NMSU press release.

Six firms submitted proposals to the university, according to the release.

The firm is different from the one NMSU hired for $90,000 last winter to aid in the presidential search.
