The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe has closed its doors for a week as it prepare for its next exhibition.
“Shared Intelligence: American Painting and the Photograph” will be on exhibit at the museum from May 20 through Sept. 11.
The show will feature more than 75 paintings and photographs focused on the work of American painters for whom the photograph has been essential.
The work of O’Keeffe, Thomas Eakins, Norman Rockwell, Alfred Stieglitz, Man Ray and others will be on display.
The museum is offering special tours of its research center and archives while the exhibition space is closed.
