ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Green Chamber of Commerce announced Friday that Lawrence Rael is stepping down from its board of directors.
Rael has served as the president of the chamber since July of 2011. He was the second board president since the incorporation of the organization in 2010.
Rael is leaving the organization to focus on his run for New Mexico Governor.
Former Albuquerque City Attorney, Robert White, who currently serves as the organization’s vice president, will step into the organization’s lead role until a new president is elected in January.
