Body Found In Sunport Parking Garage

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque International Sunport police discovered a dead body in the airport’s parking structures Sunday evening.
Albuquerque Police Department spokesman Nelson Sanchez said at about 6 p.m. someone called police after noticing a minivan parked almost flush with one of the concrete pillars supporting the parking strucure.
Police responding to the call noticed a dead body wrapped in blankets the back of the minivan. The seats in the back of the van, which had Arizona license plates, had been removed.
Sanchez said investigators had not yet identified the body, but that it had probably been in the structure for a matter of days.
