Forecast Calls for Smoke Again Today in ABQ Metro Area

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The National Weather Service says it will be sunny and breezy in the Albuquerque area today with smoke from the Wallow wildfire in eastern Arizona again affecting the air quality.

The forecast calls for areas of smoke in Albuquerque, Los Lunas and Rio Rancho, with the high temperatures ranging from the upper 80s to the middle 90s.

Southwest winds from 15 to 25 mph are expected this afternoon.

The conditions for tonight should include clear and breezy with areas of smoke. The lows will be in the 40s to upper 50s. Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph are expected, becoming northwest 10 to 15 mph after midnight.
