More on the Taco Bell Marsh

black-necked stiltLinda Rockwell has a lovely post up this morning about the value of the Belen Marsh, the little accidental wetland out behind the Taco Bell on the north end of town – the birds that call it home, and the value it offers as a place to decompress in the midst of the city:


Watching these lovely shore birds as they fed was a wonderful conclusion to a pleasant visit. I left the Belen Marsh with my mind and spirit refreshed.
