UFC President Dana White said his organization is not interested in signing Albuquerque’s Holly Holm after what White termed unsatisfactory talks with Holm’s manager over the weekend. Albuquerque’s Lenny Fresquez met with White and other UFC officials Saturday in Dallas. Fresquez told the Journal on Tuesday that he thought the talks went well, though they didn’t result in agreement on a contract. White, according to online reports, was unhappy that Fresquez discussed the negotiations in the media. Holm is scheduled to fight Brazil’s Juliana Werner in the main event of a Legacy Fighting Championship card April 4 at the Route 66 Casino Hotel. Holm has one fight remaining on her LFC contact after the Werner fight. Fresquez told the Journal that, although a fight with UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey remains the ultimate goal, Holm has other options.
