ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Patrician Design and the Tanoan Country Club will host “An Evening of Flamenco” today in support of Albuquerque’s National Institute of Flamenco as it moves forward to rebuild after a fire destroyed its home of 15 years on Dec. 18.
The event will take place from 4-7 p.m. at Tanoan Country Club, 10801 Academy NE.
Hosted by Patricia Harrell Hoech of Patrician Design, the institute’s long-time neighbor at its former downtown location, “An Evening of Flamenco” will offer light hors d’oeuvres (courtesy of Tanoan Country Club) and a full no-host bar including special housemade sangria.
The evening will feature flamenco dance and music presented by the National Institute of Flamenco and an exhibit of fine oil paintings done by guest artist, Federico León de la Vega.
León De la Vega has offered to donate 20 percent of the proceeds of sold or commissioned artwork at this event to the fire recovery efforts of the National Institute of Flamenco.
