SANTA FE, N.M. — If you stopped by the Santa Fe Botanical Garden at Museum Hill in the dead of winter, you may have enjoyed some hot chocolate, colored lights and the partridge-like sculptures by Christy Hengst.
Spring will bring “Origami in the Garden,” an exhibit of outdoor sculpture by Santa Fe artist Kevin Box. The show, opening on April 25, features sculptures that look as if they were created using the paper-folding technique. Instead, Box captures the look in metal, using lost wax casting and fabrication techniques.
And, with any luck, you also may see some flowers in bloom by then.
