ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico Young Actors present “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at the KiMo Theatre in a musical adaptation of the Brothers Grimm classic with music by Bill Francoeur and book by Tim Kelly.
Snow White seeks refuge with seven dwarfs after the queen learns there is someone more beautiful than she. The play features a queen, a cat, a walking, talking mirror and, of course, seven lovable dwarfs.
Rick Nickerson is the director with help from musical director Paul Bower and choreographer Sarah Custer.
This is New Mexico Young Actors’ 34th year presenting children’s theater to Albuquerque audiences. Four major productions are performed annually to an audience of 14,000.
Public performances are at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13. Tickets are available by calling the KiMo Theatre at 768-3544, at kimotickets.com or at the door. Adults are $12 and children 12 and under are $10. School shows April 8-11 are sold out.
