PNM launches Innovation Network

pnmALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Public Service Company of New Mexico said Monday it will give $56,000 to a new program called the PNM Innovation Network in collaboration with the New Mexico Technology Council.

“At PNM, one of our core missions is supporting economic development and job growth in New Mexico,” said Chairman, President and CEO of PNM, Pat Collawn in a statement. “We believe that our success is tied to the success of those we serve.”

The PNM Innovation Network is designed to add new programs to grow the culture of innovation within Albuquerque including the PNM Innovation Speakers Series. Starting in July and continuing to the end of the year, the Speaker Series will bring leading entrepreneurs to motivate and inspire people in Albuquerque.

The new program will also provide additional opportunities for entrepreneurs and others to collaborate within the innovation space and sharing ideas with others.

PNM said it is working with the City of Albuquerque, University of New Mexico, Central New Mexico Community College and NMTC to make Albuquerque a center for innovation and entrepreneurship.
