Suspect Shot By Police Upgraded to Stable Condition

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Orlando Paisano, who was shot four times by APD officer Damian Lujan after a domestic violence situation yesterday, has been upgraded to stable condition at University of New Mexico Hospital, Police Chief Ray Schultz said at a news conference this morning.
Lujan has been placed on administrative duty until a chief’s debriefing, which will determine in the next few days whether he should return to work, Schultz said.

The chief also said James Jung was the officer who fired a Taser at Paisano during yesterday’s incident on Dallas SE.
