Make Music Santa Fe marked the solstice in the Railyard Plaza Saturday with a full schedule of local musicians playing their music.

It’s hard to tell how many people were there, because they ebbed and flowed as the hours passed and their favorite acts played. But the audience did more than listen — dancers made the rhythm physical as they frolicked in front of the stage, especially as the sun set and the popular Lumbre del Sol brought its Latin-infused tunes to top off the evening.

One thing was clear from watching the crowd, though. Santa Feans are unafraid to wear color. Red shoes, tie-dyed skirts, flowered capris and more brightened the scene.
