State revokes ABQ real estate broker’s license

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — An Albuquerque real estate broker has lost her license for misrepresenting her role to a client in a seller-financed transaction, according to the New Mexico Real Estate Commission.

Camille Lisa Milke, formerly a broker for Realty Authority, agreed to accept the revocation of her broker’s license and never to re-apply for another oneĀ  in the state.

The commission said Milke admitted to telling her buyer that the seller of the property first had to enter into a contract with her before she could resell the home to the buyer, a violation of state law.

“By making herself a party to a real estate contract with the buyer, Milke put herself in a position to take possession of the property in the event the buyer defaulted on the contract,” the commission said in a news release announcing the revocation.
