There are some easy ways to help you score better in the early holes of your round, which is important for everyone but especially the senior golfer.
1. Google “exercises for golfers.” You will find many that are way too stressful for us old-timers, but pick two or three that stretch your core and shoulders. It will take about 3 to 5 minutes.
2. Hit a small bucket of balls concentrating on your rhythm only.
3. Three or four chips at the putting green, along with six putts from 5 to 10 feet, will make you ready to play.
All of this will help you get into the round quicker and help stay away from the early round hiccups.
