Bills release Cibola grad Alan Branch

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – The Buffalo Bills have released veteran defensive lineman and Cibola grad Alan Branch one day after he was arrested for drunk driving.

The arrest came Saturday in Cheektowaga, N.Y., where police observed Branch vomiting out the side of his car. The Bills reported that he failed a field sobriety test in addition to registering a blood alcohol level of .14, well over the legal limit of .08.

Branch was inactive for Saturday’s preseason loss to Tampa Bay.
