Pedestrian killed in West Side crash

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle at Coors and Iliff on the city’s West Side late Friday night, police said.

The traffic unit was investigating, according to Albuquerque Police Department spokeswoman Tasia Martinez.

Southbound Coors was closed between Interstate 40 and Iliff due to the crash, and the eastbound I-40 ramp onto Coors also was closed.

Police had not released the name of the victim. No further details about the crash were available as of late Friday.
