Music acts highlight rodeo concerts

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Here’s the lineup for the 2014 New Mexico State Fair Rodeo and Concert Series in Tingley Coliseum.

PRCA Rodeos begin at 7 p.m., and concerts start shortly afterward.

All rodeo and concert tickets include gate admission to the State Fair.

Sept. 12: PRCA Rodeo and The Henningsens, an American country music trio composed of Brian Henningsen; his son, Aaron; and daughter, Clara. See thehenningsens.com.

Tickets: $30 box, $20 chair, $15 bench

Sept. 13: PRCA Rodeo and Old Dominion. Though not a household name just yet, Old Dominion’s songs have been recorded by The Band Perry, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Chris Young, Craig Morgan and other country stars. Visit olddominionband.com.

Tickets: $30 box, $20 chair, $15 bench

Sept. 14, 4 p.m.: Traditional Mexican Rodeo and Polo Urias, a norteño singer known for hits like “Veinte Años,” “Una Aventura” and “Mi Primer Amor.”

Sept. 16: PRCA Rodeo, no concert.

Sept. 17: PRCA Rodeo and Gloriana, whose debut single “Wild at Heart” was a Top 15 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Their second album, “A Thousand Miles Left Behind,” produced their first Top 10 country hit, ” Kissed You Good Night.” Visit gloriana.com.

Sept. 18: PRCA Rodeo with Dustin Lynch, who scored hits with ” Cowboys and Angels,” “She Cranks My Tractor,” “Wild In Your Smile” and “Where It’s At (Yep, Yep).” Visit dustinlynch.com.

Sept. 19: PRCA Rodeo with Danielle Bradbery, the youngest contestant to win NBC’s “The Voice.” Since nailing that honor Bradbery has released two albums and kept a busy touring schedule, including opening for Brad Paisley. Visit daniellebradbery.com.

Sept. 20: Cinch Shoot-Out rodeo competition with Thompson Square, the husband/wife duo know for their No. 1 country hits ” Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” and “If I Didn’t Have You.” Visit thompsonsquare.com.

Sept. 21, 2 p.m.: PRCA Extreme Bullriding.
