Homebrewer rally in Santa Fe area

SANTA FE, N.M. — The American Homebrewers Association is hosting a series of AHA Rallies across the country, with the first one in New Mexico taking place in the Santa Fe area on Saturday.

There’s a big draw for those who brew their own – Mother Road Mobile Canning will be offering homebrewers the opportunity to have their beer canned.

The Saturday rally will be from 1-4 p.m. at Santa Fe Brewing Co., 35 Fire Place Road off N.M. 14 south of town. The AHA rallies are intended to give homebrewers a chance to check out local breweries, and connect with other beer enthusiasts and homebrewers in their area.

The event offers the opportunity to take a tour of the brewery, meet brewery staff, taste Santa Fe beer samples, and win prizes from the brewery and the AHA.

Attendees are invited to bring kegs filled with their own homebrewed beer.

Each homebrewer will be able to connect their keg to the mobile canning system and take their beer home in cans.

The AHA Rallies are free for current AHA members. Non-members can join online or sign up for a discounted member rate at the rally. Memberships start at $38.
