CANDIDATE STATEMENT: My desire is to continue my work of the last 16 years: ensuring the fair, efficient and timely disposition of cases. When first seeking office, I committed to decide cases based on the law, not popular opinion, and to strictly and consistently apply the law using common sense as a guiding principle. I have fulfilled this commitment and gone further. Working with my colleagues, we implemented and expanded specialty programs in the Metropolitan Court focused on reducing recidivism and improving court operations. It would be a privilege to continue this work on behalf of the judiciary and community.
