RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: I have practiced law for 17 years as a general practitioner with an emphasis in criminal defense and domestic relations law. My experience includes litigation involving criminal cases as a contract public defender, during which, I handled over 10,000 criminal cases. I have also represented numerous clients in complex and simple divorce litigation cases and have been appointed by the courts as a guardian ad litem to represent children whose parents are involved in custody disputes. For 13 years, I represented children and parents as guardian ad litem, youth attorney, and respondent’s attorney in Children, Youth & Families cases. I have also handled several personal injury cases, guardianships, conservatorships, probate cases, and prepared wills.

CANDIDATE STATEMENT: I am seeking this position because I care about the people of our communities. Each individual who comes into the courtroom has the right to expect that their experience with the legal system is one of respect, fairness, equality, and justice according to the law. Up to this point, I have dedicated my legal career to working with and for my clients as a legal representative fighting for their rights. I see this position as an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills I have obtained to ensure that these important principles are applied in the courtroom as a judge.
