Free seminar to focus on Mexico markets

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce and the New Mexico Small Business Development Centers Network are co-hosting the “Exploring Your Market in Mexico” trade seminar on Wednesday.

The presentation will take place from 1-5 p.m. in the Lockheed Martin Board Room at the AHCC offices in Albuquerque, 1309 4th SW.

Experts will be addressing topics such as Mexico’s business environment, market opportunities, international financing support, and Mexico’s maquiladora industry, the groups said in a joint news release.

The chamber also will present the details of a trade mission for New Mexican businesses that it is organizing to the Mexican states of Queretaro and Guanajuato.

Small Business Development Center staff will be presenting the new Gateway to Exporting program that is coordinated with the Small Business Administration and assists businesses interested in exporting to Mexico.

There is no charge for attending the seminar, but seating is limited.
