Signing held for animal advocate’s book

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The first signing of the new book “More Pet Friends with Terrie Q and Travelin’ Jack” will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum, 9201 Balloon Museum Drive NE.

The book was one of the last projects that KKOB 770 radio host and animal advocate Terrie Q. Sayre worked on before she died unexpectedly recently.

The book has photos of Gov. Susana Martinez and her family, including her new dogs, Mayor Richard Berry and First Dog Skip, the Sandia Pueblo buffalo, media personalities including KOB TV anchor Terra Mentus, Sunflower Sanctuary Animal Rescue and many pet lovers.

The book also includes essays by Sayre and Jill Lane with Travelin’ Jack.

The “More Pet Friends” book supports Save Lucky Paws, Albuquerque Animal Humane, Sunflower Sanctuary Animal Rescue and Kennel Kompadres.

Books will be “pawdegraphed” by Travelin’ Jack.

The book sells for $26.95. A limited number of the first book, “Terrie Q and Travelin’ Jack’s Pet Friends” also will be available for $24.95.
