ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police have shut down numerous roads throughout the city because of dangerous driving conditions and accidents.
The fly over ramp from Interstate 25 northbound to Interstate 40 westbound and the fly over ramp from I-25 to westbound Paseo Del Norte have been shut down. Northbound Coors at Ellison and Cottonwood and eastbound Gibson at University and westbound at Yale have also been closed to traffic.
Due to the high volume of calls, police are asking anyone involved in an accident without injuries to exchange information and submit a station report at a later date rather than calling for immediate assistance. Officers will continue to be dispatched to accidents with injuries.
Drivers are asked to stay off the roads.
