When he’s sentenced Dec. 2, Alexander Lynn Trowell of Nampa faces up to 30 years behind bars, a $250,000 and lifetime supervision.
Trowell met the girl from New Mexico in 2010 playing World of Warcraft online.
In his plea agreement, Trowell told prosecutors he eventually helped her run away to Idaho by purchasing her a plane ticket.
On April 20, the girl took a taxi to the airport and flew to Boise where she met with Trowell.
The girl’s mother then notified Nampa police, who arrested Trowell at his home before the girl was returned to New Mexico.

BOISE, Idaho — A Nampa, Idaho, man has been charged with enticing a 12-year-old girl into traveling from New Mexico to Idaho to engage in sexual activity with her.
Eighteen-year-old Alex Trowell was arraigned in Boise’s U.S. District Court on Wednesday. Prosecutors say he met the girl while playing the online videogame World of Warcraft and that he bought her an airplane ticket to fly to Boise on April 20.
Court documents also allege that Trowell drove to New Mexico in December to meet with the minor. The girl’s mother notified police in New Mexico who called Trowell en route and he returned to Idaho without meeting her.
Trowell faces two felony charges — enticement of a minor and transportation of a minor — each punishable by at least 10 years in prison.
