The city’s second location of the popular pizzeria is slated to open at 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release. The restaurant is in a former bank at 5210 Eubank NE, near Spain.
To commemorate the occasion, owners are offering giveaways for the first 100 customers, including the chance to win a year’s worth of free pizza.
The new location has dining-room seating for about 100 as well as a drive-through window. There are plans to open a rooftop patio and add beer and wine sales shortly after the launch.
Franchisee Laura Olguin and her partners with NGAF LLC brought Godfather’s Pizza back to Albuquerque in 2013 with the launch of a new store near 98th and Interstate 40. Huge crowds greeted the debut, and the store broke company records for its first-week sales.
Olguin has plans to continue growing the brand with four more locations in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, according to the release.
