City-county alliance schedules Spain trade mission Sept. 19-27

Bernalillo County Commissioner Art De La Cruz announced that local companies can now register for the 2015 Trade Mission to Spain, slated to take place Sept. 19-27.

The trade mission will begin in the country’s economic center, Madrid, followed by additional meetings in the city of Badajoz. There will also be a special visit to the city of Alburquerque, Albuquerque’s Spanish sister city and namesake.

Companies from any industry may participate, although Spain is a particularly attractive market for the renewable energy sector.

Participants on the 2015 Trade Alliance Mission to Spain will benefit from discounted lodging, language assistance and prequalified business meetings arranged on their behalf based on their specific interests in the Spanish market. The trade mission is being organized in partnership with the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, the Albuquerque Sister Cities Foundation and the Honorary Spanish Consul in Albuquerque.

Interested companies should contact Randy Trask at randy@abctradealliance.com for pricing and complete trade mission details.
