Expect fun at the New Mexico State Fair with concerts and rodeos

It’s September, so it must be time for the New Mexico State Fair. This year marks the 77th year for the event.

Along with the rides and food along the midway at the fairgrounds, there are plenty of other things to see and do for visitors.

From art shows to rodeos, organizers bring in the best.

This rings true for some musicians who will take the stage after the rodeos beginning Thursday, Sept. 10.

Christian rock band Needtobreathe and Poema will kick off the series at Tingley Coliseum.

Country singer Doug Stone will perform on Sept. 11.

On Sept. 12, Grammy winners Los Lonely Boys will perform.

Sept. 16 brings country band Restless Heart and Ozomatli will perform on Sept. 17.

Country duo The Swon Brothers will perform on Sept. 18 and Clay Walker will send off the series on Sept. 19.

Tickets are available at or at the box office at Tingley Coliseum.
