Wells Fargo hires regional investment manager

Wells Fargo Private Bank has hired Gene Harrison as regional manager for investment and fiduciary services in the bank’s Greater Desert Region.

Harrison, based in Albuquerque, will oversee all functions for the trust and fiduciary business including investment management through Wells Fargo Bank, NA in New Mexico, El Paso, Texas and Tucson, Arizona, according to a news release from the bank.

Harrison previously was the senior investment strategy specialist for Wells Fargo Private Bank’s Northern Nevada Region. He has also worked as a portfolio manager for Wells Fargo’s south central Texas markets.

 “We’re pleased to have Gene Harrison join our team in Albuquerque, given his considerable experience in our broad investment management and fiduciary capabilities,” said Eric Lindquist, regional director, Greater Desert Region for Wells Fargo Private Bank.

 Harrison received a bachelor’s of business administration degree in finance from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.  He also holds the CFA, CFP®, CTFA, and CAIA designations.
