Motorcyclist dies in Northeast Albuquerque crash

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Northeast Albuquerque on Wednesday evening, according to police.

Officers responded to the accident around 7 p.m. in the area of Indian School and Eubank.

Based on the investigation, a vehicle was traveling east on Indian School when it collided with the rear of the motorcycle, APD spokesman Daren DeAguero said. The female driver of the motorcycle died at University of New Mexico Hospital from her injuries. Police did not release her name Wednesday night.

Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash, DeAguero said.
